disaster

on
הַזֶּ֔ה

this
אֵ֛ת

-
הָעָ֣ם
hā·‘ām
people ,
כֵּ֣ן
kên
so
אָנֹכִ֞י
’ā·nō·ḵî
I will
מֵבִ֤יא
mê·ḇî
bring
עֲלֵיהֶם֙
‘ă·lê·hem
on
אֶת־
’eṯ-
them
כָּל־
kāl-
all
הַטּוֹבָ֔ה
haṭ·ṭō·w·ḇāh
the good
אֲשֶׁ֥ר
’ă·šer
-
אָנֹכִ֖י
’ā·nō·ḵî
I
דֹּבֵ֥ר
dō·ḇêr
have promised
עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃
‘ă·lê·hem
them .
43 And fields will be bought in this land about which you are saying, ‘It is a desolation, without man or beast; it has been delivered into the hands of the Chaldeans.’

And fields
וְנִקְנָ֥ה
wə·niq·nāh
will be bought
הַזֹּ֑את
haz·zōṯ
in this
בָּאָ֣רֶץ
bā·’ā·reṣ
land
אֲשֶׁ֣ר׀
’ă·šer
about which
אַתֶּ֣ם
’at·tem
you
אֹמְרִ֗ים
’ō·mə·rîm
are saying ,
הִיא֙

‘ It is
שְׁמָמָ֥ה
šə·mā·māh
a desolation ,
מֵאֵ֤ין
mê·’ên
without
אָדָם֙
’ā·ḏām
man
וּבְהֵמָ֔ה
ū·ḇə·hê·māh
or beast ;
נִתְּנָ֖ה
nit·tə·nāh
it has been delivered
בְּיַ֥ד
bə·yaḏ
into the hands
הַכַּשְׂדִּֽים׃
hak·kaś·dîm
of the Chaldeans .’
44 Fields will be purchased with silver, and deeds will be signed, sealed, and witnessed in the land of Benjamin, in the areas surrounding Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah—the cities of the hill country, the foothills, and the Negev—because I will restore them from captivity, declares the LORD.”

in the areas surrounding
יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם

Jerusalem ,
וּבְעָרֵ֤י
ū·ḇə·‘ā·rê
and in the cities
יְהוּדָה֙

of Judah —
וּבְעָרֵ֣י

the cities
הָהָ֔ר
hā·hār
of the hill country ,
וּבְעָרֵ֥י
ū·ḇə·‘ā·rê

הַשְּׁפֵלָ֖ה
haš·šə·p̄ê·lāh
the foothills ,
וּבְעָרֵ֣י
ū·ḇə·‘ā·rê

הַנֶּ֑גֶב

the Negev —

because
אָשִׁ֥יב

I will restore them
