Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in Heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

If God be for us, who can be against us?

For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

When they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another.

And ye shall be hated of all men for My name's sake. But there shall not an hair of your head perish. In your patience possess ye your souls.

Remember the Word that I said unto you, the servant is not greater than his Lord. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept My saying, they will keep yours also.

For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on Him, but also to suffer for His sake.

Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.

They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

If this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.
