אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃

19 But I know that the king of Egypt will not allow you to go unless a mighty hand compels him.
וַאֲנִ֣י

יָדַ֔עְתִּי

the king
מִצְרַ֖יִם
miṣ·ra·yim
of Egypt
לֹֽא־
lō-
will not
יִתֵּ֥ן
yit·tên
allow
אֶתְכֶ֛ם
’eṯ·ḵem
-
לַהֲלֹ֑ךְ
la·hă·lōḵ
you to go
וְלֹ֖א
wə·lō
unless
חֲזָקָֽה׃
ḥă·zā·qāh
a mighty hand compels him
בְּיָ֥ד
bə·yāḏ

20 So I will stretch out My hand and strike the Egyptians with all the wonders I will perform among them. And after that, he will release you.
וְשָׁלַחְתִּ֤י

So I will stretch out

My hand
וְהִכֵּיתִ֣י
wə·hik·kê·ṯî
and strike
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
מִצְרַ֔יִם
miṣ·ra·yim
the Egyptians
בְּכֹל֙
bə·ḵōl
with all
נִפְלְאֹתַ֔י
nip̄·lə·’ō·ṯay
the wonders
אֲשֶׁ֥ר
’ă·šer
-
אֶֽעֱשֶׂ֖ה
’e·‘ĕ·śeh
I will perform
בְּקִרְבּ֑וֹ
bə·qir·bōw
among them .
וְאַחֲרֵי־
wə·’a·ḥă·rê-
And after
כֵ֖ן
ḵên
that ,
יְשַׁלַּ֥ח
yə·šal·laḥ
he will release
אֶתְכֶֽם׃
’eṯ·ḵem
you .
21 And I will grant this people such favor in the sight of the Egyptians that when you leave, you will not go away empty-handed.
וְנָתַתִּ֛י
wə·nā·ṯat·tî
And I will grant
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
הַזֶּ֖ה
haz·zeh
this
הָֽעָם־
hā·‘ām-
people
חֵ֥ן
ḥên
such favor
בְּעֵינֵ֣י
bə·‘ê·nê
in the sight
מִצְרָ֑יִם
miṣ·rā·yim
of the Egyptians
וְהָיָה֙
wə·hā·yāh
. . .
כִּ֣י

that when
תֵֽלֵכ֔וּן
ṯê·lê·ḵūn
you leave ,
לֹ֥א

you will not
תֵלְכ֖וּ
ṯê·lə·ḵū
go away
רֵיקָֽם׃
rê·qām
empty-handed .
22 Every woman shall ask her neighbor and any woman staying in her house for silver and gold jewelry and clothing, and you will put them on your sons and daughters. So you will plunder the Egyptians.”

for silver
וּכְלֵ֥י
ū·ḵə·lê

זָהָ֖ב
zā·hāḇ
and gold
כְּלֵי־
kə·lê-
jewelry
וּשְׂמָלֹ֑ת
ū·śə·mā·lōṯ
and clothing ,
וְשַׂמְתֶּ֗ם
wə·śam·tem
and you will put them
עַל־
‘al-
on
בְּנֵיכֶם֙
bə·nê·ḵem
your sons
וְעַל־
wə·‘al-
. . .
בְּנֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם
bə·nō·ṯê·ḵem
and daughters .
וְנִצַּלְתֶּ֖ם
wə·niṣ·ṣal·tem
So you will plunder
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
מִצְרָֽיִם׃
miṣ·rā·yim
the Egyptians . ”
