תִּפָּדֶ֑ה
tip·pā·ḏeh
will be redeemed
בְּמִשְׁפָּ֣ט
bə·miš·pāṭ
with justice ,
וְשָׁבֶ֖יהָ
wə·šā·ḇe·hā
her repentant ones
בִּצְדָקָֽה׃
biṣ·ḏā·qāh
with righteousness .
28 But rebels and sinners will together be shattered, and those who forsake the LORD will perish.
פֹּשְׁעִ֛ים
pō·šə·‘îm
But rebels
וְחַטָּאִ֖ים
wə·ḥaṭ·ṭā·’îm
and sinners
יַחְדָּ֑ו
yaḥ·dāw
will together
וְשֶׁ֧בֶר
wə·še·ḇer
be shattered ,
וְעֹזְבֵ֥י
wə·‘ō·zə·ḇê
and those who forsake
יְהוָ֖ה
Yah·weh
the LORD
יִכְלֽוּ׃
yiḵ·lū
will perish .
29 Surely you will be ashamed of the sacred oaks in which you have delighted; you will be embarrassed by the gardens that you have chosen.

you will be ashamed
מֵאֵילִ֖ים
mê·’ê·lîm
of the sacred oaks
אֲשֶׁ֣ר
’ă·šer

חֲמַדְתֶּ֑ם
ḥă·maḏ·tem
in which you have delighted ;
וְתַ֨חְפְּר֔וּ
wə·ṯaḥ·pə·rū
you will be embarrassed
מֵהַגַּנּ֖וֹת
mê·hag·gan·nō·wṯ
by the gardens
אֲשֶׁ֥ר
’ă·šer
that
בְּחַרְתֶּֽם׃
bə·ḥar·tem
you have chosen .
30 For you will become like an oak whose leaves are withered, like a garden without water.

you will become
כְּאֵלָ֖ה
kə·’ê·lāh
like an oak
עָלֶ֑הָ
‘ā·le·hā
whose leaves
נֹבֶ֣לֶת
nō·ḇe·leṯ
are withered ,
וּֽכְגַנָּ֔ה
ū·ḵə·ḡan·nāh
like a garden
אֲשֶׁר־
’ă·šer-
-
אֵ֥ין
’ên
without
מַ֖יִם
ma·yim
water .
31 The strong man will become tinder and his work will be a spark; both will burn together, with no one to quench the flames.
הֶחָסֹן֙
he·ḥā·sōn
The strong man
וְהָיָ֤ה
wə·hā·yāh
will become
לִנְעֹ֔רֶת
lin·‘ō·reṯ
tinder
וּפֹעֲל֖וֹ
ū·p̄ō·‘ă·lōw
and his work
לְנִיצ֑וֹץ
lə·nî·ṣō·wṣ
[will be] a spark ;
שְׁנֵיהֶ֛ם
šə·nê·hem
both
וּבָעֲר֧וּ
ū·ḇā·‘ă·rū
will burn
יַחְדָּ֖ו
yaḥ·dāw
together ,
וְאֵ֥ין
wə·’ên
with no one
מְכַבֶּֽה׃ס
mə·ḵab·beh
to quench the flames .
