24 Can the plunder be snatched from the mighty, or the captives of a tyrant be delivered?

צַדִּ֖יק
ṣad·dîq
of a tyrant
יִמָּלֵֽט׃
yim·mā·lêṭ
be delivered ?
25 Indeed, this is what the LORD says: “Even the captives of the mighty will be taken away, and the plunder of the tyrant will be retrieved; I will contend with those who contend with you, and I will save your children.

יֻקָּ֔ח
yuq·qāḥ
will be taken away ,
וּמַלְק֥וֹחַ
ū·mal·qō·w·aḥ
and the plunder
עָרִ֖יץ
‘ā·rîṣ
of the tyrant
יִמָּלֵ֑ט
yim·mā·lêṭ
will be retrieved ;
אָנֹכִ֣י
’ā·nō·ḵî
I
אָרִ֔יב
’ā·rîḇ
will contend
וְאֶת־
wə·’eṯ-
-
וְאֶת־
wə·’eṯ-
with
יְרִיבֵךְ֙
yə·rî·ḇêḵ
those who contend with you ,
אָנֹכִ֥י
’ā·nō·ḵî
and I
אוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃
’ō·wō·šî·a‘
will save
בָּנַ֖יִךְ
bā·na·yiḵ
your children .
26 I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh; they will be drunk on their own blood, as with wine. Then all mankind will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.”

וְהַאֲכַלְתִּ֤י

בְּשָׂרָ֔ם

their own flesh ;
יִשְׁכָּר֑וּן
yiš·kā·rūn
they will be drunk
דָּמָ֣ם
dā·mām
on their own blood ,
וְכֶעָסִ֖יס
wə·ḵe·‘ā·sîs
as with wine .
כָל־
ḵāl
Then all
בָּשָׂ֗ר
bā·śār
mankind
וְיָדְע֣וּ
wə·yā·ḏə·‘ū
will know
כִּ֣י

that
אֲנִ֤י
’ă·nî
I ,
יְהוָה֙
Yah·weh
the LORD ,
מֽוֹשִׁיעֵ֔ךְ
mō·wō·šî·‘êḵ
am your Savior
וְגֹאֲלֵ֖ךְ
wə·ḡō·’ă·lêḵ
and your Redeemer ,
אֲבִ֥יר
’ă·ḇîr
the Mighty
יַעֲקֹֽב׃ס
ya·‘ă·qōḇ
One of Jacob . ”
