measured to you , ”
נְאֻם־

declares
יְהוָ֑ה
Yah·weh
the LORD ,
אֲשֶׁר֙
’ă·šer
“ because
שָׁכַ֣חַתְּ
šā·ḵa·ḥat
you have forgotten Me
אוֹתִ֔י
’ō·w·ṯî
-
וַֽתִּבְטְחִ֖י
wat·tiḇ·ṭə·ḥî
and trusted
בַּשָּֽׁקֶר׃
baš·šā·qer
in falsehood .
26 So I will pull your skirts up over your face, that your shame may be seen.
וְגַם־

שׁוּלַ֖יִךְ
šū·la·yiḵ
will pull your skirts
חָשַׂ֥פְתִּי
ḥā·śap̄·tî
up
עַל־
‘al-
over
פָּנָ֑יִךְ
pā·nā·yiḵ
your face ,
קְלוֹנֵֽךְ׃
qə·lō·w·nêḵ
that your shame
וְנִרְאָ֖ה
wə·nir·’āh
may be seen .
27 Your adulteries and lustful neighings, your shameless prostitution on the hills and in the fields—I have seen your detestable acts. Woe to you, O Jerusalem! How long will you remain unclean?”

זְנוּתֵ֔ךְ
zə·nū·ṯêḵ
prostitution
עַל־
‘al-
on
גְּבָעוֹת֙
gə·ḇā·‘ō·wṯ
the hills
בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה
baś·śā·ḏeh
[and] in the fields —
רָאִ֖יתִי
rā·’î·ṯî
I have seen
שִׁקּוּצָ֑יִךְ
šiq·qū·ṣā·yiḵ
your detestable acts .
א֥וֹי
’ō·w
Woe
לָךְ֙
lāḵ
to you ,
יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם
yə·rū·šā·lim
O Jerusalem !
אַחֲרֵ֥י
’a·ḥă·rê
How long
מָתַ֖י
mā·ṯay
